Project Overview

Our team has designed an augmented reality experience to pay tribute to the iconic pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. We drew inspiration from Lichtenstein's distinctive style and masterpieces to create an interactive and entertaining way for users to engage with his art. By incorporating gamification elements like buttons, we aimed to enhance the user's exploration of the augmented reality environment. Our objective is to offer audiences a unique and dynamic approach to appreciate the works of Roy Lichtenstein through augmented reality. I was in charge of all the design process.
 

Design Process

In terms of design, the game will feature a realistic and immersive atmosphere, with realistic lighting and sound effects, that are inspired by the movie "Avatar". The game will be designed in a way that allows players to interact with the environment in a natural and intuitive way.

UV Mapping & Texturing

My main focus was to create textures that captured the iconic pop art style of Roy Lichtenstein. I dedicated a significant amount of time to modeling and accurately UV mapping the artwork to ensure that the textures were applied with precision and authenticity, effectively capturing the essence of the original pattern.
